Opera in the Country returns for their exciting “rural tour”, gracing the stage of the Tongala Town Hall followed by the Numurkah town hall the following evening. Both performances will feature the exquisite vocals of four emerging opera singers Olive Cullen, Johnny De Simone, Charlotte Goode and Noah Straughan, with the exceptional pianism of Ronan Apcar. The Numurkah concert will feature Tocumwal local Digby Bunnett, who will perform some music theatre classics. Enjoy a delightful evening of operatic and music theatre gems, featuring highlights from Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi, Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro, Leonard Bernstein’s Candide, all with breathtaking piano performances from Ronan Apcar. Each concert will operate a bar selling local wine and beer. There will be a free light supper after the performance.
